Jamison and Simone - "The Foodies"

Their love story began back in 1994 when they started dating, but despite their youth, they weren't quite ready for what it entailed. However, fate intervened, and in 2007, they found themselves brought back together by the universe's hand. Since then, they've been inseparable.

When questioned about the secret to keeping the spark in their marriage alive, their answer is simple yet profound: "being married to your best friend." It's effortless to be kind and affectionate towards someone you genuinely admire and enjoy spending time with. Their shared passion for listening to live music and seeking out extraordinary dining experiences serves as a bond that continuously strengthens their connection, drawing them closer together with each shared experience. May the love between you two continue to blossom and flourish in the years to come.

The Rooney’s - "The Legends"

Listening to him recount the first time he laid eyes on her felt like stepping into the pages of a captivating novel. Their initial encounter took place at a trade show, and even now, he vividly recalls the precise details of what she was wearing and the lasting impression she made on him. While he may not label it as love at first sight, there was an undeniable pull towards her, a connection that resonated deep within.

Years later, fate presented him with the chance to bring her on board as a consultant for the company he was working for at the time. Seizing the opportunity, he took a leap of faith, and their journey together began. Thirty-five years have passed, with twenty-three of those spent in marriage. What's their secret? It's simple yet profound: mutual fondness and respect. They prioritize enjoyment and laughter, sharing in moments of genuine fun and joy.

He cherishes her deeply, and even amidst disagreements, he can still say: “I love you.” In their presence, one cannot help but feel the bond between them—a testament to their enduring bond and an inspiring beacon of love for all who witness it. #lovegoals

Pat and Peggy - "The Dancers"

Their love story unfolded later in life, sparked by a mutual friend's introduction. In just over a year, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the beautiful growth of their love firsthand. He admires her kindness, intelligence, patience, and independence, cherishing these qualities that make her unique. Both recognize the importance of taking time for themselves maintaining the lifestyle they had prior to the relationship. They continue to focus on spending time with friends and traveling alone.

This allows them to show up whole and the best version of themselves Pat notes how refreshing this has been drawing him to want to spend more time with Peggy as opposed to feeling obligated to do things together. Both want to show up the best version of themselves, whole and complete, for the relationship. Pat and Peggy, may your love continue to blossom as you twirl and sway, lost in the enchanting melodies of your favorite cover band, dancing the night away with joy and laughter.

Dr. Gina and David - "The Rookies"

It was July of 2013 when God planned for our paths to cross for the first time. The initial meeting may have seemed unremarkable, but a subtle undercurrent of connection lingered between us. As months turned into years, life's twists and turns invariably led us back to each other's presence.

A year later, I summoned the courage to propose a brief scooter ride, half-expecting her to decline. To my delight, she accepted the invitation. The summer day unfolded in all its splendor as we embarked on our journey. Sensing the inevitable end, I made a pivotal decision, to spend more time together with a simple question: "Do you want to drive, Gina?" Little did I know it would mark a turning point in our lives.

With unwavering confidence, she seized the opportunity. Gina took the handlebars, navigating with a blend of skill and enthusiasm until a crucial turn approached. I am still unsure how she kept the scooter upright and avoided crashing. We could not stop laughing and in that moment, I knew she was the one destined for my heart.

Life carried on, our paths diverging yet always intertwined. Despite the passage of time and the company of others, Gina remained a constant presence in my thoughts. A decade elapsed, and our bond grew stronger, the love we harbored quietly simmering until the timing aligned.

In March of 2023, the stars aligned, and the stage was set for our love to flourish. Together, we embark on the journey of a lifetime, cherishing the promise of growth and companionship that lies ahead. Both of us are eagerly anticipating the adventures that lie ahead as we embark on our journey together through marriage later this year.

Paulette & Gerald

After a pursuit that began in kindergarten, she finally succeeded in capturing his heart. They shared 52 years and 5 months of marriage before he peacefully passed away in his sleep. Reflecting on their enduring love, she credits their ability to communicate openly and adapt to life's changes as the keys to their lasting bond.

Married 26 years and the proud grandparents of 11 with 1 on the way. Their journey has been filled with compromise, attentive listening, and cherished moments traveling together. These elements have been the cornerstones of their successful partnership, nurturing both the love and their family bonds along the way.

Final Thoughts

After speaking with a seasoned couple, I found myself challenging the perception that marriage is a 50-50 endeavor. They revealed to me that in reality, each person contributes 100%. While it's unrealistic to expect peak performance every day, communication serves as the cornerstone of the partnership. If one is operating at 40%, they communicate it to their partner, who steps in to bridge the gap. It's a dynamic teamwork, where growth thrives, and in a healthy union, both partners continually strive to show up as their best selves.

Finding a person to experience life with, while beautiful, can also be challenging. However, those challenges are what make up the foundation of a successful partnership. Each couple interviewed highlighted various qualities contributing to their success. I firmly believe that as we grow both individually and together, these challenges pale in comparison to the love, admiration, and effort we invest in our partner.

Vitamin D3 with K2

I recently visited a biological dental office for a consultation regarding a necessary tooth extraction following a root canal. The experience proved enlightening as I discovered something previously unknown to me during the visit. The dentist informed me that she wouldn't proceed with the tooth extraction until my Vitamin D3 levels reached above 70 ng/mL. This revelation came as a surprise, considering that currently, a level above 20 ng/mL is typically deemed sufficient for good bone health. While most physicians aim for 30 ng/mL, it appears even at that level, deficiencies persist. The optimal range, I learned, actually falls between 40-60 ng/mL.

Symptoms of Vitamin D3 deficiency include muscle and bone pain, fatigue, hair loss, slow wound healing, mood swings, weight gain, reduced cognitive function, heightened sensitivity to pain, pins-and-needles sensation in the extremities, and dizziness. Conveniently, home tests for Vitamin D3 levels are now available for purchase at local drug stores. Those who've recently had their levels checked should verify they fall within the optimal range mentioned above, which would dictate the required daily dosage.

As for supplement recommendations, it's advisable to select a reputable company offering high-quality products. Additionally, ensure that the Vitamin D3 supplement is combined with K2 and preferably in liquid form rather than capsules.
