A Thanksgiving Message From My Heart to Yours

As we enter this season of gratitude, I reflect on the privilege of serving you and your families.
Each day at the clinic, I appreciate your trust in me with your health and stories.
I am thankful for your faith, support, and commitment to my small business, which allows me to fulfill my calling.
Serving our community with intention and love is a blessing I don't take for granted.
Thank you for showing up, even on challenging days. You inspire me and reaffirm my purpose, for which I am incredibly grateful.
Choosing Your Stress This Holiday Season
As wonderful as this season can be, it also brings a unique level of stress, expectations, and emotional intensity. I want to gently remind you of something powerful:
We get to choose our stress.
You don’t have to attend every holiday party. You don’t have to say yes to every event. You don’t have to stretch yourself thin to meet expectations that drain you.
Consider:
Donating to a meaningful organization in someone’s honor
Drawing names instead of buying individual gifts
Setting spending limits
Or even agreeing as a family to make memories instead of exchanging items
There is nothing selfish about protecting your peace. In fact, it is one of the healthiest nervous-system decisions you can make.
Honoring Your Triggers & Protecting Your Spirit
For many people, the holidays also mean navigating family dynamics that feel heavy, triggering, or emotionally charged. You are not alone if this resonates.
So I want to encourage you to prepare your heart and your body ahead of time, lovingly, intentionally, and without judgment.
Consider having:
A calming mantra you can repeat internally
A deep-breathing pattern you can lean into
A grounding practice you can do discreetly
A plan to take breaks when you need space
Permission to leave early or step outside to regulate
Your peace matters. Your healing matters. Your boundaries matter.
And remember: you do not owe anyone access to you at the expense of your well-being.
My Thanksgiving Prayer Over You
My prayer for you this Thanksgiving is simple:
May your nervous system feel safe. May your heart feel held. May your home be filled with warmth, rest, and joy. May peace surround every family gathering. May you give yourself permission to honor your needs without guilt. And may you feel, deeply, how grateful I am for you.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you. Thank you for being part of this beautiful community. And thank you for letting me live out my mission of doing good, one adjustment, conversation, & nervous system at a time.
Wishing you and your family a Thanksgiving full of grace, gratitude, and grounded peace.
With a grateful heart,
Dr. Gina
