Spring is here, and you know what that means—it’s not just time to clean out the closets. It’s also the perfect season to refresh your health and make simple, powerful changes that support your family’s wellness.

Here are 10 of our favorite, realistic “spring clean your health” swaps—no overwhelm, just real life-tested, naturally better ideas for your home and body.


💦 1. Swap Soda for Infused Water or Olipop

Ditch the sugary drinks and fake sweeteners. Try infusing your water with lemon, orange, mint, or cucumber—it’s refreshing, hydrating, and good for your skin and digestion.

Craving soda hard? I’ve been there. Grab an Olipop. It's fizzy like soda but with prebiotics and only 4g of sugar (compared to 59g in a Fanta 😳). Brittany LOVES the watermelson-lime flavor, so summery! Just don’t overdo it—it’s a better treat, not a daily go-to.




🍓 2. Swap Processed Snacks for Seasonal Fruit

Hit up your local farmer’s market (or just the produce aisle) and grab what’s in season—strawberries, blueberries, radishes, asparagus, kale. Keep washed fruit front and center in the fridge so it's an easy grab instead of a bag of chips.


🧘🏽‍♀️ 3. Swap Overwhelm for Mindfulness

We carry so much on our plates. Take 5 minutes outside. Breathe. Mediate. Stretch. Journal. Or just sit and do nothing. You’re allowed to pause. Your nervous system needs it. Think of mindfulness like your internal reset button—it doesn’t have to be perfect to work. Headspace and Calm are great apps to use!

Vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice work wonders—and won’t leave toxic residue behind. Brittany’s new favorite? Zum laundry detergent (yep, they sell it at Target). It smells like crunchy mom goals in a bottle. Clean ingredients. Essential oils. No junk. Trust me—you’ll love it.


🛋 10. Swap Plastic & Chemicals for Non-Toxic Options

  • Use glass containers instead of plastic (especially if you’re microwaving).

  • Switch to cast iron or ceramic cookware to avoid leaching chemicals.

  • Go for organic sheets or bamboo bedding to reduce exposure to toxins while you sleep.

  • Filter your water! The EPA finally admitted PFAS (forever chemicals) are linked to cancer and liver disease.
